About these terms

These terms apply when you ask Nepa Gardening for a quote, accept a quote, or use our website at nepagardening.com. They are written to be plain and fair. If anything is unclear, please ask — [email protected] or 0435 842 942.

What we do

We provide gardening, lawn, and landscaping services for homes and properties across Greater Sydney, the Central Coast, the Hunter region, and the surrounding parts of NSW. We are a small team and we choose the work we take on carefully so we can do it well.

Quotes

Quotes are free. For most regular maintenance we can quote from your photos and description; for larger jobs we'll arrange a free on-site walk-through first.

A quote is valid for 30 days from the date we send it. Prices include GST and are itemised. If something changes once we start (for example, you'd like to add a service, or we find an issue under the surface), we'll tell you and agree the change in writing before continuing.

Booking and scheduling

Once you accept a quote, we'll agree a visit time that suits you. Most regular gardens are visited weekly, fortnightly, or monthly on a recurring slot — you can change the cadence at any time.

We're flexible about rescheduling. Sydney weather requires it. A quick SMS or email is enough — no penalty.

Cancellation

You can cancel a one-off booking up to 24 hours beforehand at no charge. For recurring contracts, you can pause or end the schedule at any time with one week's notice — there's no lock-in.

If we can't make a scheduled visit (weather, illness, equipment), we'll reschedule and there's no charge for the missed visit.

Payment

Invoices are issued by email after each visit and are due within 7 days. For larger landscaping projects we may invoice in stages — this will be set out in the written quote.

We accept bank transfer (preferred), PayID, and credit card. Regular clients can opt for automatic monthly billing.

Late payments may attract a small administrative charge after a written reminder. We always try to resolve issues by conversation first.

Access and safety

You're responsible for ensuring we can safely access the property on the agreed visit day — keys, gate codes, or someone home as required. Please let us know about any hazards (loose tiles, pet issues, wasp nests, fragile plantings) before our first visit.

Our team will work carefully and respectfully. If anything is damaged accidentally as a result of our work, we'll tell you straight away and our public liability cover will respond.

What we can't do

We don't apply glyphosate or strong herbicides. We prefer hand-weeding, mulching, and bio-control methods. If a job genuinely requires a chemical treatment we'll discuss it with you first.

We don't do tree work that requires a licensed arborist — we'll refer you to one we trust.

Liability

We carry public liability and workers' compensation insurance. A certificate of currency is available on request.

To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any single job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.

Privacy

How we look after your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy at /privacy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute we can't resolve together will be heard in the courts of NSW.
